Privacy & Programme Terms
Please read these terms. They explain how the Dribble Rewards loyalty programme works and how we handle your information. This is a plain-language summary, not legal advice; the operator should have these reviewed by a New Zealand lawyer before launch.
How you earn points
- You earn 1 point for every $1 spent, based on the total shown on your receipt.
- Points are added when you submit a receipt in the app or email it from your verified address.
- Each receipt can be claimed once, to a single account.
- Receipts must be submitted within the time window shown in the app (receipts older than that can't be claimed).
- The amount is read from your receipt, so high-value or unusual submissions may be held for a quick manager review before points are added.
Points expiry
Points expire 3 years after they are earned. We spend your oldest points first, so points you keep using rarely expire. We may send you a reminder before points are due to expire. Expiry applies from the date points are earned and only to points earned under these terms.
Redeeming rewards
Rewards (such as a free item or a discount) are redeemed in-venue by our staff, who deduct the points from your balance. Rewards are issued and redeemed automatically against your points — they are not gift cards and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Your information
- We store your mobile number, and optionally your name and email, to run your account.
- Personal details are encrypted at rest. We do not store card or payment details.
- We use your contact details to operate the programme (for example, sign-in codes and points reminders).
- We only send marketing messages on the channels you opt into, and you can change that any time in Account → Marketing preferences.
Your rights (NZ Privacy Act 2020)
- Access / portability: download everything we hold about you from Account → Download my data.
- Correction: update your name, email and preferences in Account.
- Erasure: permanently delete your account from Account → Delete my account. We remove your personal details; anonymised transaction records may be retained only as needed for fraud prevention and audit.
Changes
We may update the programme or these terms. Material changes apply from the date they are published and only going forward.
